It is almost October, the month for Halloween.
While everyone is busy at preparing Halloween’s trick-or-treating, I am thinking the meaning another similar celebration “Day of the Dead“. It is the day to celebrate your dearly departed and remember that death is a part of life. For Mexicans, it is a happy family time when they honor the human spirit through remembering their ancestors.
Therefore the celebration of the Day of the Dead is punctuated by the use of vivid colors in objects ranging from sugar skulls to fine art, as well as the fabric print.
Feliz Dia de los Muertos (Happy Day of the Dead)!
