Tomorrow is 1st December, time for counting down to Christmas!

My kids really like the fun way of advent calendar to count down the 25 days leading up to Christmas, especially when they find something surprised.

Christmas advent calendar can be a big year-long project, but also can be made very easily.

1) Simple, lovely and reusable with washi tapes on clothes pins. Clip the little treats up each day.

2) Advent calendar in a jar with many mini matchboxes. Decorate them nicely with wrapping paper or washi tapes.

3) Tin magnetic advent calendar . The circular magnetic tins can be found in IKEA and reusable for storing herbs and spices, or you can use a mini muffin tin instead.

4) Bunting advent calendar. It looks like festive holiday bunting and good use for your leftover fabric scraps!
